I called John on behalf of my 89 year old neighbour, who lives alone and had lost the use of most of her sockets.  John explained he was booked up for several weeks ahead but in the circumstances would come over to assess the problem.

As agreed, he turned up on his way home to “have a look”.  He saw the dire straights she was in and stayed for 3 hours, until he had diagnosed and then rectified a multitude of faults. John charged a very reasonable fee for this work.

John is clearly a very competent electrician but more than that he is an honest, friendly and conscientious man… a rare breed.
